All the Company's workers, including we humble workers, do sincerely feel that deep gratitude for the many life-sustaining benefits the company has bestowed upon its workers must be expressed. However, pressed by circumstances, we open our hearts on the following points, and wonder if we might not wish for them:

- That all workers be treated fairly and impartially
- That a training school for young workers be set up
- That better treatment be given to the workers
- That hourly pay be reformed to daily pay
- That public holidays be observed at the workshops
- That company housing be given to the workers (...).

We humbly point out that it would be most fortunate if the company would, on the basis of its consideration of the situation, judge the above points, and if it accepts them, implement them with haste.
